Franciacorta docg Pas Dosè Riserva Decem Annis 2005
THE RICHNESS OF MATURITY
This 2009 vintage has been produced with 100% Pinot Nero grapes, the result of a careful grape selection and soft extraction of the must.
Ageing on the yeasts has been very long: 10 years.
It is a mature, significant Franciacorta, a “meditation wine” whose most important resource is time.
Prestigious, evolved and shimmering, it is an exquisite nectar with an inebriating aroma able to conquer and amaze the most demanding palates.
Intense yellow colour, with thousands of golden shades. To the nose it is a broad, rich and charming experience owing to the fragrance of toasted
almonds and coffee, as well as enveloping notes of yeast, bread crust and ripe fruits.
On the palate it is well structured, full and lengthy, rounded and sustained by a well-balanced savoury; flavours are pronounced, yet well defined, from yeast notes to toasted ones, reaching fruits and chocolate.
An infinite persistence.
COMBINATIONS RECOMMENDED BY NICOLA BONERA
A wine that satisfies, even when not joined with A wine that satisfies also without marrying the food, but it is enhanced by the most flavoursome dishes, birds with a long cooking time and glazed dishes, or cheeses of medium-long seasoning.
