Franciacorta docg Brut 2011
Produced using only the prime must from the first pressing, a preponderant part of the base wine is fermented in barriques and continues for 44 months in contact with the yeasts. This Franciacorta is truly one of its kind.
Harmonious, creamy and elegant. This wine is able to achieve a unique equilibrium with the power to create inebriating sensations.
Excellently bright straw colour, with flecks of gold in the glass; the aroma unleashes power, exotic fruit, candied citrus fruits, the delicate toasting given by wood; a wine of great energy and power, begins to manifest melted butter, the croissant and a delicate shade of toast. To the palate it is rich and well-rounded, with effervescence perfectly merging with the other components, has an excellent lingering finish, elegant and fine, faintly recalling the smoky and slightly peaty hints perceived by the nose; a gratifying wine that does not lose in fluidity.
COMBINATIONS RECOMMENDED BY NICOLA BONERA
To be drunk with refined fish and seafood dishes and not only, it pairs well with first courses with rich sauces.
Not to be over-chilled, it is a wine that dances in the glass and opens with time.
Tagliolini with fish sauce. Stewed lobster.
